What Point of Sale does
Point of Sale turns a computer, a tablet or a touch screen into a till. It uses your Novadesko catalogue: search a product by name or barcode, tap it and it joins the basket. A quick product lets you ring up an item that is not in the catalogue without leaving the till.
At checkout you pick from your payment methods and can combine several payments on one receipt; the till works out the balance and the change due. The receipt is saved as a numbered document in Novadesko, with its lines and payments, and can be printed.
Who is it for?
Retailers, shops, workshops and self-employed people selling over the counter in Belgium who want every sale to land in their documents without typing it again.

Catalogue and barcode
Search by name or scan the barcode, browse by category and add to the basket in one click.

Quick product
Ring up an item that is not in the catalogue by simply entering its name, its price incl. VAT and its VAT rate.

Discounts and customers
Overall discount as a percentage or in euros, and a customer picked or created on the spot with their VAT number.

Split payments
Cash, card or transfer according to your payment methods, several payments per receipt, change worked out for you.

Parked tickets
Park a ticket to serve the next customer, then pick it up later from the list of parked tickets.

Receipts and printers
Each sale creates a numbered receipt in your documents. Network printers of 58 or 80 mm are set up from the till.
