What Depreciations does
The Depreciations module keeps the register of your fixed assets: vehicle, equipment, IT, furniture, property. For each asset you enter the acquisition cost excluding VAT, the date, the useful life and the method (straight-line or declining balance); Novadesko computes the annual charge and the full plan, year by year, with the accumulated depreciation and the net book value.
Smart detection scans your purchase invoices of the last 24 months and spots those that should be capitalised, from 250 euros excluding VAT. One click on "Depreciate" prefills the asset from the invoice or the relevant line, with recommended useful lives for your sector.
Depreciation charges feed the income statement and the tax estimate, instead of the full purchase.
