Stock management
Stock management in action
An animated simulation of the app screen, step by step.
- Pick the warehouse and the date: quantities are recalculated at that date.
- The total stock value is computed at purchase price excl. VAT.
- Low stock and stock-outs flag what needs restocking.
- Filters narrow the list to a category or a stock status.
- Here, only products with low stock will be shown.
- The table details the actual stock, margin and profit of each product.
- A product below its alert threshold shows as low stock.
- PDF or XLS exports the inventory status at the chosen date.
What Stock management does
Stock management adds quantity tracking to your Novadesko catalogue. On each product you switch stock tracking on, then enter the quantity in stock and an alert threshold. Services stay unstocked. In the product list, the Stock column turns red as soon as the quantity reaches the threshold.
The Inventory screen, in the Catalogue menu, gives a snapshot of your stock at a date: number of products, total value at purchase price, low stock and stock-outs. The table lists each product with its actual stock, its status, its average purchase price, its margin and its profit, and the report can be exported for your year-end stock count.
Who is it for?
Belgian shops, wholesalers, craftspeople and SMEs selling physical products who need to know their stock at all times, and its value at year end for their accountant.
